"Undertow" Exhibition in Istanbul

“Undertow, A survey of South Florida Contemporary Art” exhibition is scheduled to open in Istanbul, Turkey on October, 17th 2007 and run until November, 2nd 2007. The site of the exhibit is the Osman Hamdi Bey Hall at MSGSU, Faculty of Fine Arts, Findikli, Istanbul.

The exhibition is organized by Sibel Kocabasi,
and curated by Sibel Kocabasi and Alvaro Pereyra.

This exhibition brings together the work of several contemporary artists working in the medium of collage. The artists each utilize this long established technique of combining found elements to transform the banal into extraordinary expressions. Reverie + Revolt features work by TJ Ahearn, Rakel Bernie , Kara Blossom, Paul Butler, Matthew Cusick, Tami Demaree, Eurydice, Dan Fauci, Christopher Haun, Dick Jewell, Pepe Mar, Gean Moreno , Lori Precious, Raven Schlossberg, THINK AGAIN, TM Sisters, Ana Wolovick, Bari Ziperstein.
